　　2010年10月25日美国《福布斯》杂志公布最新一期“已故名人收入榜”迈克尔·杰克逊以2.75亿美元收入登上榜首。凭借唱片销售、演唱会纪录片《This is it》全球放映、音乐版权许可和新音乐专辑发行，杰克逊身后收入颇丰，2009年以9000万美元在排行榜上排名第三，2010年更是拔得头筹。《福布斯》杂志说，杰克逊一人的收入超过排行榜上其他12位名人收入总和。
