石家庄植物园位于河北省石家庄市西北方，距市中心十四公里。1976～1997年，该植物园为苗圃，原名石家庄市岳村苗圃，主要任务是为专业绿化提供各种绿化苗木。1997年8月，经专家论证，政府立项，在原西苗圃的基础上筹建植物园。
