很难想像作为一支较为中性的硬摇滚乐队的生存空间究竟有多大，这个问题也同样一直困扰着Buckcherry，但归根到底Buckcherry是一支摇滚乐队，叛逆行为是其最根本的标志之一。所以在乐队的某些作品也同样充斥着一些为主流社会所不齿的糟粕也就不难理解了。就像Josh Todd（乐队主唱）在歌中表现对毒 品轻松自然的感受时所唱的，"I Love It，Love It， It's All About Forbidden Fruit"，同时值得注意的是在演唱这首歌时，Todd并不是像其他摇滚乐队用咆哮出的高分贝来表现观点（那简直就像是强 奸民意），而是采取了一种近乎缄默的衷惋倾诉，而ā这种表演风格就像一把伤心小剑，反而更能唤起对现实美国痛心，绝望的几代人（而不是仅仅一代人）的心理共鸣，让他们能够有理智的加以分析，有选地的加以接受。
