Hi,
i'd like to introduce a useful Duplicate File CleanUp tool after using some similar tool , i found that clonespy is the bestand i 'd like to share with you some using experience :)
first is the review and you can find below some tips (by me :D)

CloneSpy can handle equal files by
deleting redundant files
moving redundant files to a specific folder
exporting a list of all equal files without removing any files
deferring file operations on redundant files to a batch file where you can apply arbitrary file operations
replacing redundant files with shortcuts or hard links (NTFS) to retained files

CloneSpy is a very strong soft to find duplicate file
some its great features i found
1. support unicode ,so chinese people can use it :D
2.you can devide the file in to the pools, we have seperate pools sothat clonespy will atomatic delete in which pool we choose
you can have many folders in one pool
3.you can replace a duplicate file by a shortcut to a corresponding retained file.so that we can see which files are duplicate
and which are deleted
(you can choose it in option => output=> deletion => replace each deleted file by a shortcut)
this is very useful , such as in this case :
all people know that we have to put files name.mdl and nameT.mdl in the same folder and same name
when delete duplicate .mdl files ,there 're some name.mdl files deleted ,so we have to put some nameT.mdl into the same folder with name.mdl
with shortcut we can easily do it
4. you can set which file clonespy will scan ,which file it will ignore in option => input=> files (you can save these file extension list by save list commands in that box)
sizes of files you want to scan ...
important :
by default clonespy doesn't save your settings when exit : when youset your settings ,exit and open clonespy ,the settings will reset to default
solution : to save your settings go to file menu => settings => save your settings ,it will export your settings to .cst file ,you can load this setting when you want
if you want to save your settings to default , set it by file => settings=> automation ,tick on load settings on file ,and choose the setting file you saved
5.you can export the list of equal file ,deleted file
when open this text 's very easily to know which files are deleted
some tipswhen installing , it 's better to choose portable zip mode
if you use foreign name directory(such as i'm vietnamese and i use chinese name model name) and when opening the text (which clonespy exported when scanning ) you don't see the directory name, (only see "????" )
don't worry i have a solution for you
in windows :
1.open Regional and Language Options (in control panel)
2.open advance tab ,and do like this
