《逍遥江湖》研发公司心游科技创始人兼CEO湛振阳近日接受了国外游戏媒体MMOSITE.COM的专访,回答了还在研发阶段的《逍遥江湖》的一些相关问题。以下是采访报道中文翻译版全文。

Zhan Zhenyang, founder and CEO of ZhuHai XinYou Technology Co. Ltd, answered some questions with regard to Wandering Knights, a game still in its development phase, during an exclusive interview.

湛振阳,珠海心游科技有限公司CEO,曾任金山游戏副总裁,金山软件网游事业部副总经理、西山居总经理。曾在金山公司主导过《春秋Q传》、《剑侠世界》、《剑侠情缘网络版叁》等知名游戏的研发和运营工作,这些游戏都受到海内外众多武侠迷的喜爱。

As CEO of ZhuHai XinYou Technology Co. Ltd, Zhan Zhenyang had previously served as COO of Kingsoft Game, Deputy General Manager of Kingsoft Game Department and General Manager of Xishanju. During his time at Kingsoft, He had led the R&D and operation of such famous games as Chunqiu, The World of Swordsman and The Legend of Swordsman III, which are quite popular among martial arts fans both home and abroad.



Q1,《逍遥江湖》作为一款武侠游戏,它基于东方武侠文化做了哪些有趣的设定呢?
Q1: As a martial arts game, what interesting settings does Wandering Knights have with its basis on the oriental martial arts culture?

武侠文化以各式侠客为主角,神乎其神的武术技巧为特点,刻画宣扬侠客精神。我们在游戏设定中强化了“侠客精神”这一概念,设计了很多玩法,这包括领土争夺、恩怨厮杀、挑战比武、野外遭遇……等等。如何营造武侠的氛围,让玩家投入到这个世界中,对我们来说很重要。借用一句中国的谚语,“路见不平拔刀相助”,我们努力让玩家在游戏中可以做到这一点。
The oriental martial arts culture features various martial arts experts, magic martial arts and the spirit of loyalty and brotherhood. By emphasizing martial art experts’ spirit, we have designed abundant interesting gameplay, such as conquering territories, taking revenge, challenging the best and PK in the open. It is vital to create an atmosphere of martial arts and let the players feel immersed in this virtual world. Just like the ancient Chinese proverb goes, “Ready with drawn swords at the sight of injustice; defend the weak against the strong”. That’s what we want our players to experience in the game.

Q2,中国武侠游戏有著名的剑侠情缘系列,作为这个游戏系列曾经的主创人员,你们为何会开发《逍遥江湖》?
Q2: As the leading developing staff of the famous “The Legend of Swordsman” series, what made you decide to develop Wandering Knights?

剑侠情缘系列对于中国玩家影响很大,据我所知,系列作品也影响到很多海外华人玩家,就像不少经典武侠小说、武侠电影一样,在海外获得众多消费者的喜爱。我们所想的就是,继承以前作品的经典之处,实现全面的创新突破,再创作一部让大家喜爱的武侠作品。
The Legend of Swordsman series have had a great influence on Chinese players. As I’ve learnt, even oversea players  love these series, just like they love classical martial arts novels and movies. We would like to succeed the classical features of our previous products and bring players another innovative gameplay.

Q3,武侠游戏在中国市场很受欢迎,请问你们眼中的武侠是怎样的?
Q3: Martial arts games are very popular in China. In your opinion, what is martial arts culture?

武侠文化也是中国特有的一种文化,它的精神类似于骑士与罗宾汉的合体,既恪守道德原则,同时也用武力去解决一些不公平的事。武侠文化在中国已有2000多年的历史,国人早已把它看作是中国传统文化的一部分,并将它作为一种文化标签,努力地向世界各国的朋友传递,希望大家能通过它对中国产生兴趣,进而来了解我们。
The martial arts culture is an exclusive culture of China. Its spirit is similar to the combination of knighthood and the spirit of Robin Hood. Martial arts experts not only obey the moral principles but also deal with injustice by using force. The Chinese martial arts culture has more than 2,000 years of history and has long been regarded a part of traditional Chinese culture. We Chinese people consider it a cultural mark and are trying to spread it to people all over the world. We hope that they will become interested in China via the martial arts and then know our country better.

Q3,《逍遥江湖》拥有十大门派,请介绍一下这个设计细节?
Q3: There are 10 factions in Wandering Knights. Can you reveal more details?

门派是武侠游戏的一个重要设定,也是构建一个武侠世界的核心元素。《逍遥江湖》设计了十大门派,比如少林、桃花岛、天王等等,我们给每个门派进行了独特的设计,包括武功、武器,五行属性等等,每个门派也都有其使命和理念。
Faction is a very important setting in martial arts games, and also the central element in the world of the martial arts. Wandering Knights allows players to select one faction from ten available ones, such as Shaolin, TaoHuaDao and TianWang. We have exclusively designed the martial arts, weapons and five element attributes for each faction. Of course, each faction has its own mission and principles.

以桃花岛门派为例,他们的武功都由一位叫黄玉英的美丽女子传授,他们使用的弓弩能射出寒冰之气,在游戏中的定位属于少有的站桩输出类型,此外他们也拥有一定的辅助能力,非常适合与队友配合团战。
For example, players from TaoHuaDao have to learn the martial arts from a beautiful girl called Huang Yuying. They use bows to shoot arrows with freezing effect. Different from other faction players, they can deal damage without moving and changing their position. In addition, their assistant skills allow them to cooperate with other teammates in a Raid.

Q4,门派也加入了五行元素,这是武侠特有的设定么?
Q4: Are five element attributes exclusive in martial art games?

五行是中国古代的一种物质观,五行是指金、木、水、火、土五大元素,这与西方的四大自然元素有一些类似。五行系统在游戏中有一个克制作用,能够影响到战局,也使得不同门派之间的战斗会更加丰富。比如一场战斗,你是水系门派峨眉,就比较担心遇到土系门派的对手,但如果你的队友是木系门派,那么就会帮助你克制对手。这种属性相互克制的系统,能实现门派职业的整体平衡,也考验玩家对队伍的调整,比如在劣势的时候怎样利用属性克制,从而扭转战斗的局面。
Five elements, including Gold, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth, are the exclusive Conception of Matter in ancient China. They are similar to the four natural elements in the west. Five element attributes resist each other in game and bring players a variety of battles. For example, players from Emei faction of Water Element may fear to come across rivals from Earth Element faction, but their teammates from Wood Element faction can help them resist those rivals. The resistance among five element attributes balances classes from different factions and requires players to consider the team cooperation.

Q5,游戏还有哪些特色内容呢?
Q5: What other features are included in Wandering Knights?

蛮多的,比如PK玩法就有17种,还有竞技挑战等等。在PVE方面,我们也推出了各种副本模式,比如随机副本会每次生成不同的地图和BOSS,玩家需要面对未知的挑战闯过越来越难的关卡。另外在游戏的五大主城中,玩家可以购置一套自己的房产,除了精心装饰室内布局、邀请朋友来做客之外,它还会提供一些PVE方面的服务功能。当然了,这样的特色在游戏里还有很多,一旦进入游戏,你会发现有非常多的乐趣。
There are lots of features. For example, there are 17 kinds of PK in game, and also challenge in arena. As to PvE, we have also released various instance modes. When players select random mode, they have to face different maps and bosses generated randomly by the system and pass through more difficult scenes. In addition, players can purchase a house from 5 main cities in game and then decorate their houses or invite their players to be guests. Once you enter the game, you will be able to enjoy more abundant gameplay.

Q6,目前游戏开发进度到什么阶段了?
Q6: What is the game's current status?

游戏目前刚结束了首次封闭测试,玩家比较热情。我们会预计在暑期6月28日开启下一轮的封闭测试,并且加入大量的新玩法和功能系统。
The Alpha Test, which attracted legions of players, has just ended. We are planning to add tons of new gameplay and systems into the game and launch Closed Beta at the June,28..

Q7,我们应该怎么理解武侠风格呢,在游戏画面上怎么体现?
Q7: How should we perceive different martial arts styles and how are they displayed on the game graphics?

我们参考了大量的中国古代山水和建筑,设计了如昆仑山、扬州城、落叶谷、桃花岛等很多场景,希望玩家每到一个新鲜的场景,都会被吸引住。我们花费了很大精力,来体现这种武侠韵味。
By referring to a large amount of ancient Chinese mountains and buildings, we have designed a lot of scenes, such as Kunlun Mountains, Yangzhou City, Deciduous Valley and Peach Blossom Island. We hope that players will be attracted once they arrive in a new scene. We have spent a lot of time to express the martial arts style.

Q7,你觉得对一款全新的武侠游戏而言,什么设计最关键的?
Q7: What do you think is the most crucial design for a brand new martial arts game?

我们希望能做成一个有情有义的江湖世界,让每个侠客都有自己想要的生活:与朋友并肩作战,争夺天下第一的名号,寻找传说中的武功秘籍等等。这是中国武侠游戏历来都在不断努力并完善的工作,我们也会对《逍遥江湖》持续打磨改进,希望可以实现玩家多年不变的武侠梦。
We hope to create a humane world where everyone can live in their dreamlike life. They can fight with their friends shoulder by shoulder to seize the top place in game or search for the legendary martial arts books together. Chinese martial arts games require constant work and improvement. We will also keep improving Wandering Knights to help fulfill players’ dream of being a martial arts expert.

Q8,请说一下对于海外市场的战略是什么?
Q8: Can you reveal your strategies on the overseas market?

我们很关注海外市场,以前做《剑侠情缘网络版》、《剑侠世界》等产品时,就在越南和东南亚地区取得了巨大的成功。同时我们也非常清楚传统的东方经典武侠题材在全球各个地区市场应该根据本地文化做哪些适应性的调整。目前正在和东南亚的合作伙伴进行接触,我们希望有机会与全球的同行一起交流,一起合作。

We are paying much attention to the overseas market. When we developed “The Legend of Swordsman” and “The World of Swordsman”, we achieved great success in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, we know that we should adjust the classical martial arts game depending on the local culture. For now, we are discussing cooperation opportunities with our partners in Southeast Asia. We hope that we will have the chance to cooperate with our counterparts across the globe.
