Now, the couple are moving up in the world, leaving sceptics behind to set up home in a swanky apartment. However, there is still one important person to convince - the ex-teacher's son - who travels to Asia to meet his father's partner for the first time. Also this series, we take our seats at the famous Miss International Queen Beauty pageant. Over a week, 21 contestants from 15 different nations compete to be crowned the world's most beautiful ladyboy, and there's the chance to catch up with some of the couples we met in series one.
Part 1: Three years ago, a former teacher moved to Bangkok to be with his transgender girlfriend, and the time has come for his son to travel to Asia and meet her for the first time.
Part 2: Cameras follow a couple who have married after a three-year long-distance relationship and opened a bar together in Pattaya, the hub of Thailand's transgender society. They are aware it could be their one and only chance to build a life together, and could be separated if it doesn't pay off.
Part 3: Over the course of a week, 21 contestants from 15 nations compete to be crowned winner of the Miss International Queen Transgender beauty contest, including a pageant veteran having one last shot at glory before undergoing a full sex-change operation.
Part 4: Watch the highlights of the first series and a look at the life of Thailand's most successful transgender entrepreneur, who is on the campaign trail for equal rights.
