Firstoff,aHUGEthankstoallofyouwhoemailedmeinregardstothememoryleakfoundintheupdatewereleasedearlierthisweek(v1.01).Youremailsfoundtheirwaytoourproductionteamandthey’reintheprocessofevaluatingwhatneedstobedoneinordertogetthisfixed.Inthemeantime,andsincethe1.01updateiscausingmemoryleakageonsomesystems,werecommendthatyoureinstallthegameandNOTthev1.01updatewereleasedearlierthisweek.

ReinstallingBattlefield2willnotaffectyourin-gamemedalsorrankedserverstatistics.EAandDICEarecommittedtogettingafixforv1.01assoonaswepossiblycanandwillcontinuetokeepyouinformedthroughthiswebspaceinthecomingdays.

NOTE:Ifyouinstalledandarerunningthenewerserverfiles(WinandLinuxversions)wemadeavailableearlierthisweek,pleaserevertthoseaswell.Wefoundthatthosefileshadthesameissueswithmemoryleaksasdidthev1.01update.Youcandownloadtheolderversionshere.
